Funniest email ever

MAXAPALOOZA

Alright, if you were there what the fuck is wrong with you? This was easily one of the most wild nights ive seen. The night started off so casually with everyone sitting around drinking and what not. Then the lights went out a shit go wild. There was an open mic. So without fail i jumped at the chance to spit some 8 mile final battle lyrics, it was all time. As things progressed things got more and more wild. People started to climb up into the rafters of the roof and "hanging" out up there. Cans started to get thrown, people started smoking indoors, no one gave a fuck.

Then the world champing begun, if you dont know what this is you've obviously never watched a bodyboarding movie. Easily the best world champ was on some 12 year old grom. He then got beer sprayed all over him, resulting in a sopping wet shirt and screaming "this is the best night of my life!" and later passing out on the ground.

In one of the smaller rooms things got wild, ill leave people nameless but all i can say is that beer bottles got thrown through some windows and mirrors got broken. This shit was wild as fuck. haha

All in all it was stupidly wild, lots of balls got pulled out on the dacefloor and a shit load of flailing went down. And by the end of the night a fire extingusher was let off. But this all resulted in a shit load of damage to the surf club. Max lost his bond and the surf club are threatening to press charges if he cant pay the damages by wednesday. So dig deep and donate him some money to help this epic cause. Because this was a night to remember.

Bali 0 fucking 9

30 days of crazy shit. i cant stress how much this trip blew me away, it was nothing compared to what i expected.

it started off getting into bali at 3am, and after a solid 2 hours going through customs in a pair of skinny jeans we were all a sweaty mess. Once that ordeal was done we got to our driver. 7 dudes with boards and luggage crammed into a tiny van and headed back to the hotel. It was easily the most humid thing in the world.

First day in bali we headed to cunngu, i don't think i could have asked for a better surf to start things off. uncrowded bowls and ramps with just me and 2 of my mates out. All the other dude got scooters and cruised around kuta.

Then it all began, our first night out was fun but nothing compaired to what was going to happen over the next month. Every night out things got more and more wild.

The next night out i managed to drink so much i honestly couldnt remember a thing after the dancefloor. I ended up waking up in the emergancy room of some random hospital in bali with people asking me my name and where i was staying. It turns out i was on the roof of some random hotel and feel through the roof.
I was so lucky it wasnt funny. I walked away with only 4 stitches on my eyebrow and a few cuts and bruses.

Most peeple would head home after and ordeal like this. But no i spent a whole day in bed resting then straight back to tanning i went. i was dazed for a solid day or so, but pretty much fine.

Luckly i timed my fall perfectly, because there was no swell for a week straight, then the second the swell hit we all headed to padang, where it was pretty fun on low tide. This kept the surfers away

Pretty much for the remainder of the trip we surfed canguu hit padang again for a sizey swell, and dreamland shorie. This was easily the most fun had on the trip.

As for the night life, we had a total of 6 birthdays between our crew and the girls, so this ment a lot of nights out. Every night had out things got more and more wild. Pretty much the stories are so funny and there so many that i cant really post them on here, plus some a pretty full on. But if youve seen the pictures you can easily tell how amazing it is

pretty much all i can say is, go to bali. Youll love it and youll never want to leave

At first i thought a month away from home was going to be hard and i would get home sick. But by the time it came to leave i didnt want to head home. It was easily the best trip and i can't wait to do it all again next year.

JOB DONE

The Reality Of It Sets In

So today, i finally got my new gear for the trip. New board and what not. Its finally sinking in that on sunday ill be gone from here for a month. Its a pretty scary thought that ill be away from home for that long, but at the same time im so excited because its my first surfing trip over seas.

Cant wait for the pumping waves and good times with the fellas. Check back for regular updates from my trip away. x

Life

As of late life for me has been changing. I've finally realised the path for my surfing that i want to follow. I want to be as relaxed as possible when it comes to my surfing and not stress too hard about getting good waves. Because i dont want to have bodyboarding on my mind all the time when im trying to do other important things. I want to focus on Uni work and working for traveling from now on. I feel that i want to explore more of this world with every opportunity that i am given. I am no longer thinking in a selfish manor but instead trying to think about my friends and family more when doing things. It's taking time but im trying to change because i am sick of how i used to be.
At the end of June ill be heading to bali for a month with all of my mates. Im not sure if this was a wise choice because everyone on the east coast is heading there aswell but its a once in a life time thing. Never again will all of us be able to travel all at the same time. So thats why its a must for me.
I cant wait to be getting good fun waves ever day for the month. Im going to miss home alot and some people back in sydney, but hopefully ill be having such a good time i wont think too much about them and neg out. Little Narrabeen is going to be lonely without the crew there in full force ever day.

Night of Mayhem

Saturday night saw the last night Chris James was to be in sydney for 2 weeks and also living on the beaches. So we did what we do best and thats get wild as fuck. 

It started with the usual pre drinks at tobys pad. Things started off pretty timid but then soon kicking into gear with the battos blow ups. 

Robs finally got a board back from battos that he stole months earlier and shit just started from there. Battos finally got a gyroll which he has on layby (i know, its a leash mate).

Then Chris dropped one of the funnest calls by saying to battos, 'probs do an air before putting that leash on'. Next we stole battos gyroll and i was 'world champed' with it. This then resulted in the chant "Gyroll why roll?" and things just got hectic.

Battos was clicking all over the joint.

After rob was sick of the 'world champs' so we gave him one. Then everyone under him collapsed into gracies clothing rack, and clothes went every where. By this time eveyrone was vegie status.

Next second it was time to go. Liam was flailing his arms every whre like an idiot. Next second mays done a drop roll into a table an chair from Gloria Jeans narabeen. The whole crew says 'oi did you see that guy stack it?, naaAaAa' - Quote from tension 2

We all thought it would be a good idea to go to the bottle o for more drinks because '1 more drink here is one less you have to pay for in there'. Everyone was already half a bottle down. Majority of us got 2 pulses each. But Chris James and Moody thought it would be a good idea to go halves in a 10 pack of woodstocks.

Shortly after we were at the bus stop waiting for fucking ages. Liam sat on a random asian dudes lap thinking it was one of us. Soon after Daniel was wearing Simons balls as a pair of goggles.

Finally the bus came and we got on. By the time the bus got to collaroy (10 min down the road) Rob and Daniel jumped off. Dan tryed to get into the surf rock and the bouncers reply was 'your not getting in'. Liam was being a wom and wanted to drive to Jess lynches place. Dream on mate.

Daniel was in a such a state by the time he got back to tobys place he was in the shower fully clothed throwing up. Job Done.

All in all a whole lot of hectic shit went down long before we got to the city. By the time we got to the cross the crew had dwindled down to 4 of the original 10 haha.

Its been a long time

Since i update this thing. I havent been up to much lately beside partying, surfing and chilling. Ive had some pretty fun sessions down the coast and around home over the past few weeks.

 Being on holidays is great, except so is every school kid, so this means every where has been packed as and i'm really not the type of guy who likes hasseling 20 dudes for one wave.

Ill upload some shots when i get around to it in my next post. But ill leave you with a video of a man with some very wise words. 

Going out

Honestly how many times have you woken up after a night out and asked yourself was it really worth it? Is feeling this shit actually worth going out at night. Its pretty hard to really know. Some times its sick when the waves are flat. But when there is waves its so not worth it. Ive missed some sick waves by going out. Still got some fun ones later in the day. Fair over it and im neggin hardcore. But anyways

Can't wait for this swell thats going to be gracing out shores later this week. Some epic shit is going to be going down. YEW

Ye Old Local

Lately its been pretty fun out the old tip. Today was fun early, then got pretty stupidly packed. It sucks becasuse everyone has the same idea when the swell goes north. Still managed to get a few fun ones. Nothing compaired with yesterdays power session. So good and i was so stoaked. Havent surfed like that in a while. Kebabs

Last night if you weren't one of the thousands of people in the cross that saw me drop my kebab and have it explode on the ground outside of new york slice ill tell you about it.

So i got my kebab then headed over to eat it with rob, simon and may. As i went to pull it out of the wrapping it flys out onto the ground and pretty much exploded on the pavement.

For the people that didn't see my face once this happened i can tell you now i didn't say a single word and ive never been so angry in my life. Rob told me today that it was the most angry he's ever seen me and that it was actually scary. I was so angry because i just spent 7.50 for this thing and now it was laying flat down on the ground in kings cross. 

So i just kept quiet and went back to the kebab shop. Told the dude behind the counter that i walked around the corner and some dude smacked my kebab out of my hand. Soon after i was walking back to the fellas with possibly the biggest smile on my face because the dude just gave me a full new kebab free of charge. Biggest ledge ever. 

I must also add that daniel picked up the bread of my exploded kebab off the pavement and ate it. Sick night had by all

The Past Week

Thinks have changed alot for me in the past week. I've missed 2 good sessions in the waves, 1 day whale wedge due to being at Uni and then one at Turri due to surfing whale wedge. haha but ill live.

Lately Toby's pad has seen a lot of everyone. Including Daniel May who hasnt been home from there since wednesday last week. 

So many beer bongs (some of which have been spiked with jim beam haha) have gone down on both Thursday and Saturday night along with watching Tension 1/2 and Vague Oportunities. We mainly wanted to watch it to see Tyrrell's ad for 'suspect clothing'. haha funniest shit ever

I need to add both Hardy sections in tension 1 and vague are possibly the best things ever. 

Sat night saw Rob going to mona pub SOBER. This is pretty much a first and a last for Rob.

The following day Liam got dacked out the front of subway Narrabeen. But not only did he get dacked, but Daniel dacked him, stood on his pants and then pushed him over. This resulted in Liam dramatically dropping his keys and drink then grabbing his shorts and running around the corner to put them on. I think a total of 25 people saw his dick and everyone of them laughed so hard. Pretty much the best thing to happen on Sunday.

This week is looking alright for everything else accept waves. So i guess some funny stuff will go down later on and ill be back here telling you about it

Years ago Andrew Batterbee dropped off the professional bodyboarding scene of chasing waves in exotic locations to work a full time job as a bricklayer. Not many people know why he chose the life style of surfing ripbowls and getting pissed over big barrles and bodyboarding groupies. After more then 4 years of no exposure what so ever Battos returns from the grave with this shot yesterday on RealSurf. Here he is shredding some shories on his day off at Curly yesterday morning. Lets hope we see a return of the infamous Battlecat and a pro model from HB.

Car Alarm

Yep thats right, even my car has one. But i have no clue how to work the thing.

Today we were all hanging at the top of Turri. i was sitting in my car with May and we were all about to get a stunner. When i wasn't looking Batto's  hit the red button in my car to turn my alarm on. Then just as we were about to bail i start my car and BANG. The alarm goes off like crazy. Causing the biggest possible scene ever, and every person at the top of Turri just stared at me. Plus all the fellas bailed big time. Rob convinced me to just drive with it on all the way to Jacko's for the stunner. Pretty glad i did.  I made a few random's laugh and it was well funny.

at the end i say "if i goes off again im going to snap" and the second i say snap it goes off again. hahaha

made the day that much better 

This is getting out of hand

A shark bit a teenage surfer's leg to the bone off a Sydney beach early Sunday -- the Australian city's third attack in as many weeks, police said.
The 15-year-old boy was surfing with his father at Avalon, one of Sydney's northern beaches, when the shark struck, the NSW Police Force said in a statement.
"The father heard a scream and turned to see his son thrashing about in the water," police said.
Family friends said the man, an experienced surf lifesaver, dragged his son to shore and administered first aid, using his surfboard leg rope as a tourniquet.
Ambulance officers said the teenager was bleeding heavily from severe lacerations to his leg. They stabilised him, treated him for pain and then airlifted him to the Royal North Shore Hospital, where he was in a stable condition.
Police said it was too early to say what type of shark attacked the boy but experts would examine the bite to determine the species responsible.

I hope he's going to be ok and will survive this horiffic ordeal. Best wishes to him and his family

Uni story/rant

Alright so theirs some dude at my Uni who told me he was going to world bar (this was ages ago). So i told him "man get a teapot they're pretty sick". So he comes back on monday acting like hes the tea pot king. Saying how he did A teapot. claiming to everyone how hectic it was n shit (like no one had every had one to themselves EVER). I just stood their thinking to myself 'get real mate. ive been doing teapots since you were shitting yourself quit claiming it'.

The same dude once said to me 'man you should come to greenwood with me n my mates one time, we get pretty roudy' i just thought to myself 'mate you dont have a fucking clue what roudy is'. Then i said to him haha yeah man my mate was standing on the roof of the greenwood yelling shit and throwing stuff the other week. His response was utter shock. His face blank and all he said was 'omg that was YOUR mate'. The dude pretty much has never asked me to get pissed with him again. hahaha hectic stuff

Group Work at Uni. I bet at lot of you have had to do it and all of you hate it just as much as i do. Don't act like you don't. Its possiby the most annoying and unproductive thing ever. From what ive seen at my Uni is that every single group sits their like total vegies and stares into blank space or sits on facebook on their lappies. Uni's need to quit kidding themselves and give up on the whole "group work" thing. No one wants to meet up outside of class hours and do work. Just let the whole thing go

biggest update ever

Alot of stuff has been happening lately. 

Firstly theres finally swell and has Turri been pumping or what. Today both simon and rob surfed for a total of 4 hours. Hectic stuff for Rob especially seeing hes never surfed for more then an hour on any given day. Might i add the fact he got a cracker of a barrel and did a leg stall whilst in it (soon to be sponsored because of this act of bodyboarding). Pretty much shredding. In other news Simon is still 24 and trying tricks, this shit has to stop before he hurts himself.

Daniel May has a  girlfriend, this is about as hectic as it comes. The man who no girl could contain finally has been contained. Pretty much every girl out there nows feels safe. Or do they?

My sources tell me Jeremy Grieve has just recently purchaed a unit in Bronte. Now im not sure if he took the job for "Bad Boys gone wild" and made a killing. But hes now moving up.

Toby has moved to Narrabeen and got himself a house. Liam 'i get shit thrown at me 'Mckenzie ended up spening more then half the night sleeping on the stairs of the backdoor their. This resulted in a nasty cold. Your a headcase mate.

Surfing in warm water is possibly the best thing ever. No cramps and you dont get cold. Thats why i cant wait to head to Samoa
